Happy? – A Poem by Kelly D. Tolman
Posted by admin on April 10, 2009
Smiles soft as summer days.
Now red as if painted on.
The mark placed here will never fade.
Its twisted visage grows bleak
And almost streaks away.
Bubbling now this smile grows
To cover, blend in deathly haze
Running down, spreading out
This smile dances, smudges, plays.
A gross mark to end all smiles.
