Desire – A poem by Kelly D. Tolman

Posted by admin on May 13, 2009

There is a burning inside
of me.  So unlike the heat
I felt before.  It lends no
strength, no courage gives,
to conquer or to win.
Driven, I am mad with fire
almost.  But only close.
No power, no force, only
longing to douse the flame.
