Chewing Gum – A Poem by Kelly D. Tolman

Posted by admin on July 10, 2009

Icky, sticky, chewy.
Chomp, Squish, Ooze.
Day and Night she chews.

Doesn’t spit.
Doesn’t swallow.
All the taste is gone.

Behind her ear.
In her hair.
Sticky everywhere.

Around her toes.
On her nose.

Sticky fingers
Sticky thumbs
Sticky elbows
Sticky gum.

LOL…that is so cute and so true.
I have had many issues with gum in hair throughout my child raising years:)
