Lord Without Doom – A Poem by Kelly D. Tolman
Posted by admin on May 21, 2010
Doves in the rain.
Blue and glistening,
They wait.
Rising and falling,
Lords of their doom,
Calling.
Silent flash of dark,
Deep and glittering,
Stars fight.
Rising and falling,
Lords of all doom,
Calling.
Cries of vain hope,
White and raining,
Death bolts.
Pierced dove’s hart,
Faint and bleeding,
Buys debt.
Rising and falling,
Lord of the fallen,
Falling.
Great Lord of peace,
Pure and rising,
He sings.
Rising and fallng,
Lord without doom,
Calling.

Sandra Rose Hughes said,
I like the pace of this poem- there is an urgency to it.
